Electrostatic Paint
Definition
Electrostatic coating is a manufacturing process that employs charged particles to more efficiently paint a work piece. Paint, in the form of atomized liquid, is initially projected towards a conductive work piece using normal spraying methods, and is then accelerated toward the work piece by a powerful electrostatic charge.
Electrostatic paint spraying is a superior method of applying paint onto metal substrates, especially more intricate objects such as balustrades, lift doors, button consoles, ATM machines, retail check out tills, freezers chillers and refrigerators, shopfronts, chainmail shutters, radiators, filing cabinets, etc.

- Low Odor – Practically no Odor at all
- Less Disruption – In – Out job done, never know we where there.
Costs
Renovating a surface rather than replacing it will save an enormous amount of money. Because the electrostatic paint coating wraps around the surface, even hard to reach areas are covered, so corrosion is prevented which extends the life of the object even further. Refinishing using electrostatic spraying will add value as well as longevity to a business. An electrostatic handgun is an improvement over conventional and HVLP equipment in that it incurs less labor and reduced material costs.
Appearance is Key
Electrostatic coating carried out by King Specialist Coatings will result in an impeccable finish on any metal work in your commercial premises. Your surfaces will look like new with a sleek quality on a par with powder coatings which are only available in factories. There are no drips or runs, so the finish is perfectly smooth with no brush marks or bubbles which can be the downfall of other paint methods.
WHAT IS ELECTRO STATIC SPRAYING?
With the use of high quality spray equipment, our electro static spraying is a very popular choice for our customers. The equipment atomizes and statically charges the paint, which is good for intricate shapes on materials which may be difficult to get all the paint on.
Our electrostatic spray painting process also eliminates most of the masking and sheeting up associated with other forms of spray painting and is often not necessary at all. Airborne particles are virtually non-existent so office businesses and retail stores can function without disruption.
With this type of spray paint. There will be no added mess, spatters or over sprays as the paint comes out only in one direction. Which means our specialist sprayers are able to know exactly what they have painted, without the need of going over it.
WHY USE ELECTRO STATIC SPRAYING?
There are many useful factors as to why you should consider using our electrostatic spraying system. Not only will it save our professionals time, by knowing exactly what it is we are spraying. It’s a far better cost effective spraying process to invest in, unlike trusting a painter to go over everything wasting your time and money.
